As a Phoenix real estate agent, one of my passions is the unique architecture that can be found throughout the Phoenix area. Not only are there stunning commercial buildings, but each of Phoenix’s neighborhoods offer a distinct style and atmosphere; which makes the Phoenix Real Estate market an exciting place to discover!

Phoenix is a vibrant city with much to offer in the way of restaurants, shops and events throughout the year. But, did you know that Phoenix also has a rich architectural history? Whether you’ve just moved to Phoenix, have lived here for years or are considering moving to this capital city; I’d encourage you to check out a unique offering taking place now until October 19th: Phoenix Design Weeks.
Over the next few weeks, there will be over 20 events and countless exhibits where you can discover more about the thriving design scene here in Phoenix. One of the highlights are the architectural tours that will show you some of the very distinct styles seen throughout Phoenix. The first is the Frank Lloyd Wright Biltmore tour which will showcase the First Christian Church and The Arizona Biltmore both of which have unmistakeable Frank Lloyd Wright influences. You can also venture to view the modern side of Phoenix with the Modern Phoenix Architectural tour. You can view more information about this two week event on the Phoenix Design Weeks website.
If you aren’t able to take advantage of these events, but are still interested in learning more about Phoenix architecture, simply venturing through some of the Phoenix neighborhoods will give you a great picture of the various styles offered. Of course Biltmore Estates, named because of The Biltmore Resort nearby, offers a slightly Mediterranean vibe with luxurious 1920’s and 30’s Spanish Colonial revivals. However, if you’re more interested in a minimalist style, one of East Phoenix neighborhoods, Marion Estates, may be just the ambiance you’re looking for.
Whether you are searching for a contemporary home built into Camelback Mountain, or a historic Spanish Colonial or Mediterranean Revival in the prestigious Encanto-Palmcroft District; you’ll find something that meets your stylistic genre.
If you’d like to tour some of the homes currently on the Phoenix real estate market that are exactly what you’re looking for; please let me know! As a Phoenix real estate agent with a unique architectural approach; I know we’ll find the home that fits your taste and lifestyle.
